Since 1968, Cameron Campus Ministry and the Wesley Foundation have ministered to the Cameron University campus.

The Wesley Foundation owned the building and worked with CCM and 16 local congregations (Catholic, Christian (DOC), Congregational, Episcopal, Lutheran, Presbyterian, United Church of Christ, United Methodist and Church Women United) in ministering to CU.

Subsequently, congregations of the National Baptist Church and the Unitarian Church joined our ecumenical mission. After a short absence from the campus ministry building, CCM and the Wesley Foundation are now partnering in ecumenical campus ministry under the name of Campus Ministry Center (CMC).

At CMC, we reach out to Cameron University students to help them handle the stresses and opportunities of the University, while at the same time helping CU students, faculty and staff dig into how a person's life can change through a deeper understanding of what it means to be a compassionate and empathetic child of God
